Claim to fame: Ten cents per minute, five cents per text, anywhere the phone can get service, which is a lot of places. Need unlimited? $79.99 for text and voice. Plus, since Net10 is a Tracfone brand, the patented airtime balance display and contract-class coverage come in the package.

Standout features: Airtime balance display, cheap text messaging, web and MMS messaging on some phones, great coverage, unlimited voice and text option, cheap international long distance, “international neighbors” feature (incoming number in Canada and/or Mexico)
